But remember, a lot of factors are also taken into consideration for your digital audio workstation. Memory is a big thing so you can avoid depending on your hard drive too much. Thanks for your comment. =)Neilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13674899615469201584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353170595733906099.post-6102040736694425042007-08-05T09:10:00.000+08:002007-08-05T09:10:00.000+08:00does dual/quad core benefit piano vsts such as Ako...does dual/quad core benefit piano vsts such as Akoustik piano (ivory or any others).

I can hit 2ms latency on laptop with ASIO4all, but with rubbish buffer, what important is being able to have 2ms latency and still able to throw down Rach chords and full of sustain!!

Im gonna build a system soon, and need to know if multi core with slower clock speeds is better than higher clock single processors? There would be now point if acoustik piano sits alone on a core of its own in a quad core system, if it cant be threaded across all cores!

O.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353170595733906099.post-69431798019779943092007-02-14T13:24:00.000+08:002007-02-14T13:24:00.000+08:00A toast to Ebox ver 2.0!
